2023 Sees Record Employment for People with Disabilities, But Gaps in Access Persist
In 2023, nearly a quarter of people with a disability were employed, the highest percentage since the data was first collected in 2008. The numbers are even more disproportionate for Black adults with disabilities, and veterans with disabilities - each of whom are more likely to be unemployed or live near or in poverty.
